This or That Tuesday

1. Bacon or sausage? both, usually sausage
2. Eggs: scrambled or not? usually scrambled, but if i'm home, sunny side up is good
3. French toast or regular toast? regular
4. Pancakes or waffles? pancakes
5. Muffins or bagels? blueberry muffins, or bagels on the run
6. Coffee or tea? mild coffee, usually tea
7. Juice: orange or grapefruit? prefer grapefruit when it's good, otherwise orange is okay
8. Hot or cold cereal? hot with maple syrup and cinnamon or cold because it's usually there
9. To put in cereal: bananas or strawberries (or some other fruit)? strawberries!!
10. Eat breakfast at home or at a restaurant? home, though i tend to order breakfasty type food at restaurants like denny's

feeling a touch of senioritis. want things to be over because i don't feel like doing anything. figures. the first quarter sails by fine then second quarter just sucks. spring is in between in terms of yuck-ness. need to get going on my presentation and my papers. gah... two scientific ones and a reseach paper. no fun, no fun.

been wanting something different to try... a break from the routine, even when the routine is pretty good. life is starting to feel pointless again.

too much good tv on lately... escapism... greaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat...

and on top of that, i'm sicky again. weak, queasy and so feverish that i usually feel freezing. and somehow, i'm always hungry. have a doctor appointment in a couple weeks. general checkup with the new doctor. maybe i can get a new prescription for my meds. hope i'm not anemic again.

going insane... soooooo baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad, sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad... trying to do three things at once: study for midterm, prepare for presentation meeting, write overdue paper.

in an attempt to unplug myself from online and video games and tv, i'm in the study lounge. it's not working. it was for a while, because the large group in here was studying for my midterm, but now they're being loud and argumentative and silly. two of the guys are slackers and one of the girls is very annoyingly know it all presumptious... she went to a little all girls french private school in culver city (near la). she wants to argue with a lot of what the professors say, especially because her mom's going for her master's in religion at usc. *sarcastic* oooooooooh...

gosh, can't i just crawl into a cave and ignore everything til i'm well again?? :(

must remember to hit enter one more time before saving and closing this text file. why a text file and not a word processor? because i can set this up with an auto timestamp of when i open it up and start typing. that way i know exactly when i wrote stuff without looking for a calendar or my watch. i'm in the reserve book room of our library, copying the contents of a cd for my 2nd midterm review. today is going to be very busy. too bad i was tired when i woke up and it's going to be a long day. at least i plan on having fun tonight. jen's coming up for a fencing meet against our school. we plan on kidnapping her and either exposing her to the seedy underworld that is partying santa barbara-style, or taking her bowling for the very first time. or both if we've got time. that reminds me... i need to type up and print out our ransom note. bet you can't guess what i'm asking for ransom! :) once it's done, i'll post it.

religious studies midterm was eh... finished 50 questions in 20 mins. my TA told me to go home. she said i didn't sound too good. well, sorry, i've got presentation meetings and a lab til 5. so there. my favorite question for the midterm? 'What does Prof. Hect commonly call the laser pointer used in lecture?' answer: the Death Ray! :D other choices include "the Jerry Garcia zapper," and other silly things that i can't remember.

i'm just killing time... why do i do that when i'm often in short supply of it?

i need a nap.

i should go and finish lesson plan-type thingys and write more potential test questions before my meeting.

i guess that takes precedence over my nap, or playtime or knitting john or niko's hat or spinning pretty roving into pretty yarn. maybe i'll write more later."
